A tablet product for use in the sterilisation of water.  Suitable for use in the sterilisation of water for drinking purposes and cooking purposes when used at chlorine-equivalent dosage rates to national guidance standards.

Versatile Calcium Hypo Tabs may also be used for the sterilisation of water used in pools, such as swimming pools, diving training/ instruction pools and pools used for emergency evacuation training.  Equally suitable for use where water is stored for any reason and it is important to prevent biological growth and resulting issues.  Can also provide a useful resource in programs for the elimination of Legionella infections in water systems.

Ideal for use on ships and oil-installations off-shore, in training centres, test centres and in water used for cooling purposes.

Provides 65% available chlorine – much stronger than any liquid – saving on storage space.
Calculate (from data below) the number of tablets necessary to provide sterilisation and add these to any basket used or simply add to water and stir till dissolved and dispersed thoroughly. To assist in this calculation, please note that % by weight multiplied by 10,000 will give a ppm (parts per million) figure. Drinking water sterilisation normally requires a chlorine dosage of about 0.5 ppm residual.  Higher figures can be used in applications where the water is not for consumption. Store in a cool, dry place, away from acids or ammonia (or products containing either of these).
